Rahu Yoga
Matt is a full time yoga teacher and yoga has been an integral and central part of his life for a decade. He first connected with the practice of yoga after going through psychological struggles while at university. In short order he experienced a marked improvement in his mental health and realised that it was essential for him to study the practice more deeply.
After three years of dedicated practice he was invited to attend a two month intensive teacher programme under the tutelage of world renowned senior Iyengar teacher Glenn Ceresoli and has since attended multiple retreats and workshops to deepen his knowledge and practice. Rahu Yoga is Matt's own 'brand' of yoga which embodies Iyengar principles with his own unique approach and individual style.

In 2020 Matt began to explore the contemplative and meditative practices of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of Lama Choedak Rinpoche. Matt is now trained in mindfulness and meditation and conducts regular 8 week Calm-Abiding Meditation courses at Zelkova.


Bonnie de Beer
Pilates Instructor
Bonnie is a full time Pilates instructor and Pilates has been an integral part of her life for 14 years.
After a motor vehicle accident in 2002 Bonnie endured many years of back pain and spent a fortune on Chiropractic treatments. A friend recommended that she try Pilates and it took a year before she did. Within 2 months of starting regular private Pilates sessions Bonnie was virtually pain free. After making a full recovery her eyes were opened to the amazing benefits of Pilates and she decided to study it, specialising in rehab Pilates.
She first obtained an international mat instructor qualification through BASI and after several years of teaching mat Pilates went on to obtain her Fully Comprehensive Pilates Instructor certification. She has also studied exercise science and
rehabilitation.
Bonnie is passionate about movement and believes that the right kind of movement can be life-changing because it can reduce pain, improve posture, and increase flexibility & stability!
Bonnie works with clients of all ages and backgrounds and enjoys helping each client build up their strength, restore their balance and move without pain.
